Charges & Extras

We ask you to pay for

Gas: we ask you to pay for the replacement of gas cylinders as they become empty. Although a spare cylinder is normally available, we ask for empty cylinders to be replaced before your departure. Gas is used for cooking and the new BBQ.

The spare gas cylinder must be left full.

Central Heating: the charge for central heating is according to the amount of oil used. Oil consumption will depend on how cold it is and how you set the timing clock and the thermostat.

Logs for the Fire: these are available from our log pile in the garden, charged at cost.

Extras: any extra items requested from Albert Guerin. He can supply you with amazing double yolk eggs from his son's organic chicken farm down the road, just ask!

Telephone: if you use our telephone, please be sure to keep a record of all your calls and the total will be deducted from your deposit. It is easier if you use your own mobile phones.

Breakage Deposit: we request a breakage deposit which you pay with your final account, or with your initial payment if you are booking within eight weeks of your holiday. We make every effort to refund breakage deposits within four weeks of your departure from the property. The possibility of our having to retain any of this deposit will be avoided if clients ensure that any breakages are replaced before the end of their stay, the property is left clean and there are no empty gas cylinders.

Random reviews from our guests

It was a fantastic house, very well equipped, very homely, very comfortable. The housebook was really useful, I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. ST Canterbury
